Pair

Ah, a beautiful night out for menu club last Wednesday. Our setting was ideal, I thought. It’s our first month without Jane, and we had a truly relaxing, casual night out at this lovely little spot near my house.
Small plates and nice drinks, vaguely country French setting with wide open doors and adorable curtains, old [...]

94 Stewart

For Jane’s final menu club (well, apart from guest appearances), she picked 94 Stewart, in Pike Place Market. Delightful. And not a whiff of its building’s former tenant, The Garlic Tree Restaurant. Okay, so this isn’t exactly Menu Club information (yet), but for the longest time, I’ve been trying to remember where I ate one of the best slices of cake ever in my life. I thought [...]

Sitka and Spruce

A fun night, with good wine, great food, and intimate atmosphere. Very handsome waiter, in a Seattle sort of way (well, I thought so).
Tiny inside, with the lone menu on a chalkboard, in pretty script. Delicious French red wine (Lirac?). Totally yummy. For dinner, we shared 6 different small plates, at the suggestion of the [...]
